Fitzgerald River National Park: A Park in Peril

Thank you all for your wonderful support of our Facebook post on the mega-fire in the Fitzgerald River National Park and across Cocanarup, other high ecological value bushland, and farmland. Your ‘likes’ have taken the post far and wide. It has been a tragic event, with so many people feeling greatly saddened. Our CEO, Keith Bradby, is one of those people.

Expanding on his earlier Facebook post, Keith has penned these personal reflections, drawing on his close connection with the Fitzgerald and Ravensthorpe areas from 1976 onwards. The story is in the February edition of the Southerly Magazine and you can find it on our Heartland Journeys website: Fitzgerald River National Park: A Park in Peril | Heartland Journeys
