Margaret Robertson
Comms & Special Projects
In the early 2000s, Marg enjoyed working at a very local level on a reconciliation process with the Kojonup community ‒ Noongar and settler ‒ to develop the interpretive centre displays at The Kodja Place in Kojonup.
Marg’s university studies involved a double major in Geography and Anthropology from UWA, and a First Class Honours science degree in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan with a thesis entitled ‘Evaluating Oral Histories for Restoration Ecology’.
Marg played a key role in the production of Gondwana Link’s film ‘Breathing Life into Boodja’ and our series of short films for the WA Museum Boola Bardip, and is continuing to develop our ‘Heartland Journeys’ website, associated monthly stories for the Southerly Magazine, and other communication projects. Marg is committed to supporting First Nations peoples’ aspirations.
